But this extra step is the only way to make them mighty enough to hold all your guacamole without giving your jaw too much of a workout. Our chips always start as tortillas first, then they’re rested, cut and fried. We cut tortillas, not corners! The Corn: These chips were made with two types of organic yellow corn: flint and dent. Dent corn is commonly used in tortilla chips, but flint corn is what gives Zack’s Mighty Tortilla Chips their very corny flavor. Flint corn is a delicious heirloom corn that once grew all across the northeast. We’ve teamed up with farms in the US to help bring this corn back!
